Our acoustical engineer will meet with you to review your needs. Subsequently, if you require, our basement contractor will also meet with you to prepare a full project proposal.

The vast majority of contractors do not have the expertise to do soundproofing and building acoustics correctly and effectively. Beware of those who try to convince you otherwise. Our soundproofing expert also inspects the construction to ensure top quality workmanship.

Our consultant is Mr. Ivan Koval, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., an acoustical engineer. He is an associate member of Acoustical Society of America, member of Canadian Acoustical Association and member of Project Management Institute.

Our soundproofing consultant will visits your project site, helps to determine your needs and objectives, and survey the job requirements. Within two business days after the site visit you will be emailed a report of what needs to be done to meet your soundproofing objectives. We charge a fee for this consultation.  You  may also request a free estimate from our contractor to implement your soundproofing project.

Our proprietary, simple and inexpensive non-invasive acoustic test gives customers a rough quantitative value for sound transmission loss prior to renovation, in order to define scope of the soundproofing problem. We can also localize areas of noise leaks in a partition to assist in planning of the soundproofing improvement effort. We measure separately airborne and structure-borne noise. After a renovation job is completed, we measure the amount of sound transmission loss added by the soundproofing renovation.

Our test procedure is not a replacement for expensive ASTM standardized test that accurately measures the ASTC value of a wall.
